Larnaca International Airport (LCA) is compact by European standards — from the moment your wheels touch the runway, you are rarely more than twenty minutes from the arrivals hall. It's the island's busiest airport and, for many travellers heading to either side of Cyprus, the first taste of the holiday. Here is how a typical arrival unfolds, where your chauffeur will be waiting, and what happens next.

Passport control and luggage

EU passport holders usually clear immigration in under ten minutes. Non-EU travellers should allow fifteen to twenty-five minutes at peak hours — roughly 10:00–14:00 and 20:00–23:00 in summer, when several flights land together. Baggage reclaim is directly after passport control, and trolleys are free. There's an ATM, a currency exchange and a SIM-card desk in the hall if you need them before you set off.

Where we meet you

Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall, directly opposite the exit doors, holding a sign with your name. There is no need to call or search — walk out, look ahead, and you will see us. We track your flight from departure, so a delayed landing never shortens your included waiting time, and an early one is no problem either.

The first minutes of your transfer

Your chauffeur handles the luggage, walks you to the car — a Mercedes E-Class or equivalent, parked minutes away — and confirms your destination before setting off. Bottled water is waiting in the cabin. From kerb to highway takes about five minutes, and the fare was fixed before you travelled, so there's nothing to agree at the roadside.

Onward across the island — including the north

Larnaca is central, which makes it a practical arrival point for the whole island. Nicosia is about 50 minutes; the north — Kyrenia, Famagusta, İskele, Bafra or Güzelyurt — is reached by crossing the Green Line, a routine part of the drive that adds only 20–30 minutes. You stay in the car, passports ready, no passenger fee. For western destinations like Güzelyurt and Lefke we use the faster Bostancı (Astromeritis) crossing rather than routing through Nicosia.

Not just the airport — local rides too
